This course includes topics on accounting basics and finance in the construction business, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, budget, forecasting and tax management. Participants will learn basic cost determination, business planning, banking needs and how to build an annual business plan.

You’ll learn from seasoned instructors in an industry-graduate training program designed specifically for HCC Contractor Academy. These aren’t your typical one-off training classes. This course is part of a series of 11 courses. The first five courses are being offered in the spring of 2022, and the remaining six courses will be offered in the fall of 2022.
Thanks to a generous Skill Advance Colorado Job Training Grant as well as a sponsorship from the City and County of Denver Division of Small Business Opportunity (DSBO), each eight-hour course will be $150 and each four-hour course will be $100 (regularly $200).
