HR – Managing Your Team

This course covers effective hiring, leading others and relationship building. Topics include personal accountability, tips on managing teams, identifying and building future talent. The course will also mentoring, training, conflict management and supervisory skills.

This is a two-day course. The course will be held on:

  • April 2, 8:00 am – 12:00 pm
  • April 9, 8:00 am – 12:00 pm

His business background includes Molson Coors Brewing Company. HCC Contractor Academy has formed a strategic partnership with Front Range Community College to offer college-level courses at a fraction of the cost. 

You’ll learn from seasoned instructors in an industry-graduate training program designed specifically for HCC Contractor Academy. These aren’t your typical one-off training classes. These courses are developed and taught by construction industry experts and cover topics that are critical to the growth and sustainability of contractors in Colorado. If you want to play with the big dogs, you need to learn from the best—and that means attending these courses!

This course is part of a series of 11 courses. The first five courses were offered in the spring of 2022, and the remaining six courses are being offered in the fall of 2022.

Thanks to a generous Skill Advance Colorado Job Training Grant as well as a sponsorship from the City and County of Denver Division of Small Business Opportunity (DSBO), each eight-hour course will be $150 and each four-hour course will be $100 (regularly $200).

Construction and construction-related service businesses are eligible to receive a scholarship for an additional 50% off course fees. Contact Lynn Vosler at 970-214-3362 or for more information.
