Win Work & Make Money with Accurate Estimating

Course Description:

Whether your chosen market is residental or commercial, private or public, new construction or renovation projects, the basics are the same! Join us to learn the basic principles of construction estimating and polish your current estimating skills. Learn how Milender White and Gilmore Construction approach and produce successful construction estimates. We will introduce different types of cost estimating as well as tools and methods used to create estimates.

Topics covered will include:

  • Organization of the estimate
  • Types of estimates
  • Elements of an estimate
  • Quantity take off techniques
  • Pricing techniques
  • Adjusting the estimate for a variety of variable factors
  • Estimating labor, materials and equipment

This class is designed to be a gateway to more complex estimating practices. It is recommended that attendees have an understanding of basic construction process and terminology.
